How will disavowing bad people make this any more or less the case?

That is exactly what it took for changes to start being made in a few of the places where this happened to me.

They also open the door to so much unnecessary obfuscation because, now, the very concept of gender identity is arguable in a whole other way by being dependent on moral character (a subjective standard).

I don't necessarily disagree with that, but I think there are some things that everyone (or... most people) can mutually agree on when it comes to morality, and THOSE are the things that need to be worried about. The morals that boil down to subjectivism are not as important in this case.
