secured CC is the most sure way but…

if you have 100K — RCBC + hexagon club (2-3 months approval) or ask for a branch endorsement for a regular CC

if you can maintain at least 40K ADB or more for 6 months — BDO will send you a pre-approved card roughly matching your ADB

you can also open a PNB savings account, and ask for CC application assistance for their zelo card

if you have 25K, then open an all-access account with SB — you can ask them for a branch endorsement

the hardest CC to get if you’re a freelancer or non-carded is: HSBC, BPI, MetroBank, Citi, and BDO

if via regular application, BDO is surprisingly strict despite giving away pre-approved cards like it’s candy haha

MB and BPI are very stingy, even to their depositors with 6-digit savings — MB is very strict about the gross annual requirement for their cards

and HSBC is the most strict, don’t even attempt if you’re non carded haha

Citi is great, but they might not approve you the first few times you apply

as for maybank, rbank, chinabank — idk since there’s not a lot of posts here about them sadly

if you’re planning to get a secured card, i’ve heard that BPI is the one to get kaso medyo mataas yung holdout i think
