What do you have for bedtime snack that helps fasting #?

I had high fasting and breakfast numbers. I ended up having to go on insulin at night but the snacks that lowered my numbers the most at night were popcorn + cheese, or Greek yogurt and fruit. If I had whole wheat toast, crackers, or any other grains my numbers were awful in the morning. Also, walking for 30 minutes in the evening helped a lot.

They also told me that if my breakfast was high I could move some of the carbs from my breakfast throughout the day, so now at breakfast I go for 30-35g of carbs and I haven't gone over since.

My normal breakfast is one piece of whole wheat toast, butter, one serving of fruit (watermelon, banana, strawberries or blueberries) and one or two fried eggs. Yes, it gets boring after awhile but I eat the same thing every morning because my numbers are always 5.5-6.5.

If you do have to go on insulin at night it isn't too bad, I am only on 25-30 units and my numbers in the morning are now 4.5-5. With insulin they monitor you more closely and usually induce around week 38-39 but they're letting me go closer to week 40 now (currently 38+5) because everything is looking fine.
