Anyone diagnosed by 7 day monitoring vs 3 the GTT?

This is a super common ask here. If you search post history at least once or twice a week this comes up. You’re not alone no pregnant lady wants to be a lab rat so there’s not a whole lot out there to read up on.

The most common answer to your question will be it’s frustrating having “good enough” numbers, but with GD numbers get work over time peaking in the mid 30 weeks. Even if you feel the diagnosis is unnecessary or wrong, it’s probably best to listen to the medical professionals who see cases all day every day. It’s better to control it and monitor so nothing bad happens to your baby, than try to get out of the possible diagnosis.

It’s also important to note that a GD diagnosis isn’t instant medical intervention especially with good numbers. They’ll just ask you to monitor and suggest diet and exercise to control the readings which in turn should help the growth of your baby which in turn will help your birth experience.
