What plastic is best for making strong, EASILY and efficiently recyclable (many cycles) plastic storage boxes?

Just curious, what’s the use case like? You want to make a strong storage box that can be recycled into...another strong storage box? Would this be a product that you as the consumer recycle at a specific location when you no longer need the box or when it breaks? I’m not sure I’ve ever thrown away a storage box now that I think about it.

Now if the use case was using these boxes as short term storage or transportation, or in manufacturing for moving parts around and emptied and returned to a source, that could demand a more stringent recycling practice. I don’t see the appeal at the consumer level because for something that’s strong, you keep for a very long time already, but cardboard for instance is more short term and demands to be recycled.

Also, recycled plastics degrade and become impure and will find a different purpose for something simpler or less dependent on mechanical performance.
