Comment elaborating the problem: Upgraded to the 2021 model during a sale (I've actually paid only 36 Euros for this brand new product, because I also redeemed a voucher). Yeah, this one gives me a little headache. First thing: It's impossible for the technology to prevent ghosting/after images. This also goes for TV's. If you don't refresh the screen after a time, these after images will be visible.

But yeah, the ghosting on this one is a little extreme if you ask me. And it's not only this unit. I actually had to replace the first unit they've send me because it wasn't able to charge. The new one I've received is working, but when it comes to after images, it is exactly identical. My girlfriend also purchased one a few days ago, it's identical. She don't care, I for myself, ask myself to return it. But already talked to the CS, told me that the next unit might not be different and that these effects may vary from one unit to another and that they use different manufacturers for their screens.

I've seen a lot of Oasis 3 models that are ghosting like this. The weird part: The ghosting is fading the more pages you turn until it's almost completely faded away. Normaly it's the opposite, the more pages you turn, the more visible after images will be.

Of course this is without page refresh activated. There is next to no ghosting when the option is enabled. But I can also read Manga without the option enabled. The ghosting problem seems to be more visible when I just read text based files.

I will keep it and watch, if it might get worse. But otherwise, I can live with it. I know I'm not the only one with this amount of ghosting, but it seems like most of the units out there are pretty tame when it comes to after images. In Dark Mode, you won't see anything (makes sense since the background is dark).
