I wanted to come back and give my opinion, So I tried Urban Greenhouse, Natures AZ Meds, the Medroom, and No Sleep Delivery this week.
My opinions are as follows, and please do not let my opinions reflect negatively as it was only MY experience... others my have had different experiences. I find though that the community is fairly quiet so I'd like to offer my two cents.
1.) Nature's AZ Medicine, this was my first stop and it was intense. Big building right off the freeway and a parking lot full of people and cars. People were kind of hanging out talking and that seemed weird to me but "inviting". The door was weird, there is a buzzer, I pressed the button it rang/buzzed, I pulled and nothing, turned the handle and pulled, nothing, pressed again nothing, someone started to line up behind me, and then boom finally someone walked out, it was weird.
Then it was easy, a nice lady checked me in, I told her it was my first time, she promised a free pre-roll, gram or discount, I asked for the gram. (never got it by the way). Anyway she told me to grab a coffee and sit down, it was very inviting and relaxing. Several people were sitting there, watching a moving, I believe it was Training Day, a scene with snoop dogg in the wheel chair which just set the tone for me.
I got called back, and was introduced to someone who admitted it was their first day. Cool enough guy and he was polite and willing to help but wasn't super informative, initially told me that they were out of shatter, but then a co-worker told him they had some, so he showed it to me and I took 2 grams. Got a gram of platinum wreck and called it a day. It was a slow process and the meds were okay, but I did kinda feel I paid more than it was worth. Hate to say it, but I may just need to catch them on a "discount, or specials" day.
2.) I tried a "Compassion Club" or whatever you want to call it next called the Medroom. I was told before hand that this place was the type where you could buy your meds and hang out and smoke, I apparently was wrong or not cool enough for that. Either way, you pull up to a vague looking building and go to a metal security door, which was locked. It was still early so I called the number and the guy said to just knock and I'd be let in.
*knock knock and I'm met by two gentleman and a nice lady running the front counter. She checked me in quickly and then I was called back to a smaller room. Not amazing but eh it's about quality of meds and cost. A guy showed me his shatter first just the outside of the package nothing else, I asked his preference and he said MK Ultra. Got 1g of that and 2grams of some kind of pot, I forget what it was but it was okay. It was cheap, but when I asked about hanging out so they could show me how to do dabs right and all, the guy was like nope, we don't do that. No worries I took my meds said thank you and left.
3.) Urban Greenhouse was next. Went on a friday, was dead when I pulled in, as soon as I walked in the door though I was followed by like 10 people. The lobby was standing room only. Very nice helpful lady at the front desk and I have to say this as well, the security guard there is just cool as hell! Super nice, always opens the door, says hello and goodbye and is just really nice. He deserves a raise and respect for that.
Anyway, I sign my new patient card and wait a very brief time before being called back. Now to be clear, I have a relative who goes here and they have had AWESOME experiences so I was prepared to be blown away once I mentioned being now and all... I get called back and I see the room and it's cool and super modern and techie with big touch screens and fancy cases (and sorry my male side will be honest here, very very attractive ladies working there), and everything looks great. But they have like 5 strains to choose from and even though I tell the guy I'm new and clueless, he offers no help or suggestions on what to get. I walk out after just guessing on some Durban poison and nothing else because when I asked for anything else he said "they were pretty much out of everything else and might have some cavier in the back" but didn't bother to check. Wasn't impressed too much, but want to give them a second try. I think it was a bad day.
4.) No Sleep Delivery was so far the best of the best. Which was weird because I walked into the deal expecting less. I ordered off the menu on leafly but that's risky because you never know what you are going to get. I got a quarter of Khalifa Kush (before you start, of course it's not the legit stuff, KK is supposedly only available privately to Wiz but whatever this is still deserves some praise) and 1 gram of Durban Poison Shatter.
Now this is important, when texting, I did mention briefly that I was new to this whole thing so to direct me and so forth, but this guy hooked me up!!! Within an hour of my text I was called by an awesome delivery driver who was confirming my location, he pulled right up as I was on the phone, he verified my card and I paid him real quick and made sure to tip. He was really nice, super polite and said he threw something extra in there. Wasn't expecting it but got two free pre rolls for being new, and an edible for spending over $90. I was super impressed... The shatter is GOOD! The Khalifa Kush is covered in diamonds, I can't even... there's no proper words. I haven't tried the edible yet, but it's a rice crispy treat and I'm sure it'll be a low dosage only 65mg.
TLDR: Out of 3 store fronts and a delivery service, as a new card holder, the delivery service was the one to blow my mind and impress me the most. I'm going to give Urban another try and Nature's AZ and Urban's Greenhouse will have to battle it out for my store options. Otherwise, No Sleep Delivery is going to get a lot of my business.
