What your favorite gravel bike for around $2000

Hah. I worry that someone who actually knows something like joshfromsilca will comment and light my post up. Which would be awesome.

Frame geometries and ride impressions are really interesting.

Just to call out the Gravel Cylist as an example here: he's reviewed the Ribble CGR and the Donelly G//C. I think he reviewed the same size frame. They are near identical and geometry and assuming he set them up fitted to him the TT difference shouldn't have mattered. Yet he had really different impressions considering the Ribble to be a race bike and the Donelly to be an endurance frame? Why? I am guessing it wasnt frame stiffness or the D shaped seatpost, his front end setup on the Ribble was lower so his weight was distributed differently.

In fairness both bikes were slammed but if he ran a -12 degree stem on the Donelly the bars would have been in roughly the same place vs. the front wheel. Would have loved to have heard how his thoughts compared with that setup.
