Whats you guyses opinion on modern boxing?

Probably ask this on r/boxing You’ll get a lot less cringey answers

Yeah boxing is still fun, just not as popular. A sport isn’t as simple as it is portrayed in anime. There’s a lot of different nuances, perspectives, and fighting strategies in every fight.

Take Ruiz vs Joshua 1 for example. A slugfest that essentially became a battle of haymakers and “grit” by round 3.

Then you have Ruiz vs Joshua 2 just months later and it’s the complete opposite fight. Joshua takes his distance. He’s being technical with his jab and outpacing his opponent.

It’s useless to try and put boxing in a box. It always will be a mix of strategy and savagery.

Recently, I’m having/had a blast watching Torrez jr. tear through the olympics. I’m excited to see how Tyson fury’s career finishes. I’m also curious to see how usyk adapts to being a heavy weight.
