It's too bad - my enjoyment of the franchise used to be 1/3rd the show itself, 1/3rd discussion/speculation/analysis, and 1/3rd reading fanfic. After 6x03 most discussion shut down and what's left is being propelled by the most negative viewers, while fanfic seems to have dried up as well - what with Ozpin's backstory rendering a lot of old headcanons obsolete, no real direction from the show itself in terms of how the Atlas Arc will play out, and for Bee shippers there's no need to use fic to fill a void that the show itself looks likely to fill in the near future.

I used to post on the sub once a day at least, now it's down to one or two days per week.
