MRW A girl in my class says completely seriously, "We need to stop talking about feminism for the same reason we need to stop talking about racism, things are fine the way they are now"

And I don't disagree with your reasoning of why the disenfranchisement of women should be the focus of the movement - i really, truly don't. It's just some of the other stuff, the little details, that I disagree with, and I think it makes it easy for this poon_hunter person, among others, to poke holes in your argument. Things like this statement:

This oppression is rooted in the misogyny that men have.

See, I argue that women can be misogynistic as well! Feminism isn't a "men vs. women" thing, and framing it as such, only opens it up to be challenged as such by MRA. Women can be sexist all the time! They often are! Women told me when I was young to be a nurse when I said doctor. And many women go through the "I'm not like other girls" phase which is often the manifestation of internalized sexsim where they've become convinced that traditionally female everything is stupid, and they're better because they associate with guy things... blah blah blah, i'm sure you get the point. They can be very misogynistic here, too. Special snowflake syndrome sets in and they're the only good woman out there, every other one is this stupid, vain, vapid whore. Doesn't that seem misogynistic? I think it sounds so.

I think I already linked to it elsewhere on here, but I think you would really enjoy the sass in this article. Though what I specifically think is important is the part near the end where the author talks about how feminism does really help men, too. The same author has another article criticizing the MRA movement. She seems to have a very similar view to you - that they don't like losing their privileged position. The sad thing, of course, is that the MRA movement raises some valid points, some things that some men truly do suffer from. For example, one that i care about a lot is male rape victims. There's not a whole lot of support out there for men that are raped, and they are hurt a lot by sexism and sterotypes, from comments such as that "men can't be raped," or that they deserved it because they couldn't protect themselves like a real man, or that they really liked it because they are gay, or whether or not they deserved/wanted it, that they're not "real" men now.

(By the way, when I said we're from different strains, I think it sounds like you associate more with the theories in the rad fem movement than I am. And no, I do not mean that anything like what most people associate "radical feminism" with, but as literally the strain of feminism that is very focused on the patriarchy and believes it to be the primary cause of gender inequality)
