Where is Jay?

The team is run half assed. From the parking lots to the skeleton crew of a technical staff and the bargain bin coaches there's a consistent lack of any serious investment in building a winning franchise. When they do decide to spend money its on anattention grabbing "flashy" name who doesn't pan out because the Union has no system to work them into, and no way to develop talent even if they had a coherent style of play.

To top it all off, the guy who masterminds these personnel moves, who is there for all the photo ops and interviews, passes the buck and vehemently denies ever being involved when the whole thing goes south. Now you've got a cancer on your gameday roster, costing your results, and sucking up cap space which is stretching the whole team thin across the field. When an injury pops up, the entire lineup feels it because there's no depth left on the team. Young players are sold or burned out, either playing without experience or sitting because there's simply no plan or ability to coach them into future starters.

The whole thing is run like a second thought by guys who like to pretend they can manage a sports team, or pretend to wheel and deal to put together a competitive roster. When it doesn't work out, they look for excuses or point the blame elsewhere. When the results on the field reflect the poor management, fans are told to be happy with what they have, because we could have nothing to watch at all.

If Sack and Co. weren't running this organization into the ground, I'm confident they would be involved in pushing high-risk mortgages, or laundering money, or something equally as sleazy. If there is anything we as fans can do to force a change we need to do it. We've been demanding more for years now. Demanding more from an ownership group that wouldn't even be here if not for the support of fans who came together for a team that didn't even exist yet.
