It's an A8G/AG8 65 inch OLED. I ripped all of my blu-ray's onto a hard drive during lockdown, for convenience... and storage space was running low.

I used to play them on a 1080p Samsung LED with no issues at all, but I'm getting this on 80% of the films that play.

I have installed VLC and Kodi too, both of which remove most of these lines, however it replaces the static noise with an ever-so-faint white border around the entire video.

I've tried connecting the same HDD to the Samsung again, no issues, and I've tried a different hard drive on the Bravia and it shows the same white noise.

r/bravia for some reason won't publish my post, but I'd really appreciate any help or support you can provide with this as it's kinda sad when I'm trying to enjoy my first 4k TV and it's being ruined by crazy lines!
