Spencer is a goldmine of quotes, and is forgettable to nobody. Jefra's flip-flopping leading to her demise was an interesting storyline. LJ is a more recent equivalent of Brendan from Tocantins - nice guy, and kinda meh TV, but the "Dragon" that needed to be slayed. Lindsey's meltdown and quit was epic TV, plus it gave us a final 2. Brice is Brice - why do you need that one explained? And David was absolute gold as a first boot. Jeremiah and Alexis, however, are "eh" by comparison, but are still not bad when stacked up against some other seasons.

The thing that's "old school" is the edit finding a happy hybrid of character development and strategizing. That's more what I meant, in terms of final product. It's not an old-school game at all. The show found the middle road.
