This will probably be removed.

There were four threads that I had my posts removed in. My guess is they removed due to what was in one of these two, and the others were collateral damage:

Under "Earth was Flat", I am confused because they removed 3 of my posts, but left a 4th post in which I was responding to someone about his question on neanderthals (which referenced my previous post). Someone else's post was removed, actually a person who I was joining in to agree with in the post, so to me, that can only mean the "idea" we both shared was the problem. Also, near the bottom of that thread, there is a string of posts all removed, which I think we did mutually. He posted something. I responded. He kind of freaked out on me (swore), and then I responded in kind of an amused way. He deleted his freak out, and then I kind of felt it was detracting from the conversation to get into some fight (I saw he had posted a more clear post so figured no point), assumed he overacted, so deleted mine too.

In the meditation post, I posted a long reply about the history, and the nature of at least the rational proposed reason for what people can experience. I tried to suggest if you don't believe my interpretation, here are some possible ways of going about this activity where you won't trick yourself. I feel like there should be this counterpoint to those that just say "you can fly into space" and "talk to aliens!' with these methods. Even if you are a believer in something like remote viewing, there is the known issue of overlaying your own preconceptions onto what you want to view, so how is this any different? At the top of the meditation one, I had some posts that were a little snarky, but I was kind of reacting to some negative messages I was receiving, so I can "kind of" understand removing those, but they weren't any worse than anything else I've seen posted by others.

My posts were removed here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/aliens/comments/408l24/detective_that_accused_stan_romanek_of_posessing/ https://www.reddit.com/r/aliens/comments/4035ig/increase_in_spacealien_related_media/

I think in the sci-fi one, it was collateral damage to the other posts. I made a joke, but it isn't a very serious post, and it comes up every few weeks. The answer is "no one here knows, but sure?"

The one about the detective, I am perplexed a little. I was responding to a question about "what does this have to do with aliens?" and gave a link, and a description of the person in question based on what I knew. What is possibly the reason it was removed is I gave a one paragraph reason for how disclosure will really happen (that way disclosure is presented to happen is set in the dark ages of pre-internet, and looks more like controlling the message than revelation), and encouraged skepticism of those who claimed what they should be able to prove based on their story.

The helpful post about the detective made me think the one thing connecting all the posts that were removed was a general skepticism of the truth posted here, and there is the possibility we are being misled on purpose.

I don't want to reveal what I believe from all I have studied. I have seen how fringe communities accept information, and I think that is a part of the problem. It is possible that I believe something is going on. I have thought a lot about what I think is possible. My conclusion was if something is true, you can use the same methods to reach that conclusion that I did, and you may be more right than me, you may not have the same biases. If I tell you what I think is going on, and lay out all my evidence, and string together a story, you may believe it. Humans are a pattern seeking creature prone to accepting and rejecting evidence based on a narrative. We can get too reliant on the map, and it is my opinion the terrain is not so foreign and far away as to be inaccessible to us. The map is always a lie.

I did consult a lot of information in my investigation. I haven't been to /ebes recently, and I kind of went through my consuming of rumor and fringe theory phase, and then went through the trouble of ascertaining for myself what is going on. I still come back occasionally to see what people post on the Internet, hence why I was on this sub. I was home sick, and suddenly had read enough that I felt someone had to give an opposing view.

I am perplexed. I am sometimes a little paranoid by certain implications. To be honest, I review my posts not just to push the idea that a scientific approach is most useful, but to edit out certain information. There are possible scenarios, in which, I think it would be potentially dangerous for me to claim certain ideas.

I thought about posting the PMs when I got them, but I figured people are sometimes dealing with something in real life and you just kind of make a shit show out of making it a public thing here. I might send it to mods. I kind of wasn't ever going to come back and post again, but when I came back to see my posts removed, it made me think you guys really do have a problem, and it isn't just your community. A lot of fringe communities seem to be distracted by a deluge of people selling maps.
