But also, to me there’s something about the phrase “slow drip” that doesn’t quite do enough justice to the whole editorializing aspect of all this.

There’s definitely a slow drip of revelations and new “facts” but that aspect of disclosure seems mainly due to all the pressure build-up during the last 80 years, with all the organized secrecy and deception over the decades simply needing a release valve.

Overlaying all the slow drip disclosure stuff is probably “wink nod and elbow rub” disclosure piece I’m kinda getting at.

There is something to the nothing of human editorializing in the news. And the “nothingness” of all of it is somehow different from the same nothingness 5 years ago, or 5 years before that, and so on
