I imagine you mean that Fred looks feminine when you say he looks "weak" based on the right wing culture war bullshit you are trying to peddle here. I hate to tell you this but Fred has always looked feminine intentionally since he was created. Also, if Fred does turn out to be a coward, then that's ok too. It wouldn't be the first time Fred wasn't portrayed in the best light. Remember the original live action movie? Fred was a vain idiot. It is ok for characters to be different across different versions. Like I think Spider Man movies with Miles Morales are amazing and I am glad that there is a different universe in which spiderman is not the plain Mary Jane lovin' Peter Parker. Miles' story is a little more interesting too.

I think the real criticism is that Fred's art style looks great, but the other characters look like generic adult cartoon characters. Ffs does every adult cartoon have to look the same?! Also, do we really need another Scooby Doo show? I know this one is for adults, but why couldn't we get a new IP. Mindy Kaling is a great writer and is definitely capable of something new. I watched the trailer, and Velma looks great, but the writing seems so bad. It is not as funny as I was imagining it would be.
