why is it horrific? i mean seriously why is there such a strong stigma against anything that has to do with sex?

kids should be raised knowing that pleasure is important and that it can be pursued without guilt. I dont see the value in shaming kids into hiding their sexuality. id rather be supportive of my kids exploring their sexuality and know that they are being safe, responsible and also enjoying themselves. The problem fundamentally lies in the way we approach sex education, sex is taught as this very mechanical physical act that is performed for procreation and nothing else. i believe that we should provide a broader understanding of sex, one which includes topics such as pleasure, kinks etc.

We have always shown a considerable disdain towards pleasure in the west and that probably has something to do with how abrahamic religions are fundamentally structured. it is its time we realize that pleasure is important.
