The Perfect Sweetness
Holiday weight was a thing not just around Christmas and Thanksgiving. Easter was a particularly deadly time for me. Mainly because sugar and chocolate are my weaknesses. You place a plate of egg shaped sugar cookies in front of me, there won't be any left to share. Canterbury eggs? Devour those things by the dozen. Chocolate Bunnies? Start nibbling ears first and work my way down. I lived on a constant sugar high.
But, my favorite treat, was Bunny Gal Monica or most of the time, just Monica. She was a baker in town and her goods were the best I've ever had. She had tarts, pastries, cookies, fudge, the works. Whatever she made, you knew you would be in heaven after one bite. Easter was the best time of year because to promote her seasonal products, she'd dawn her wonderfully tight Bunny Girl outfit. It was decorated like an Easter egg, it was sky blue with purple lines and red dots. If she wasn't dressed like a bunny I'd say she looked like an angel.
Her sales always skyrocketed around the holidays. Ms. Claus in December, a barmaiden for St Patrick's day, a witch for Halloween but this outfit, this is what got the most attention. Her bakery would have a line that was over an hour long. The wait was excruciating but worth it.
Thankfully, I never had to wait. The best part about this arrangement was that Bunny Gal Monica was my wife. And while all the guys and gals fawn over her, I'm the one that gets to take her home every night. But this is why I love Easter, getting eaten out and getting to eat out a bunny girl just hits different.
She always tasted so sweet. Her natural taste was more addicting then anything she could make in her bakery. The way her mouth had a hint of cherry from her lip gloss, her fingers tasted faintly of sugar and flour. Every part of her had a distinct and unique flavor and scent. My mind always craved the taste of it. Nothing is more addicting then the feeling of pleasing the one you love. That's why, despite all the baked goods she makes, and all of the seasonal treats that are released, she will forever be, the most delicious thing I've ever tasted.
