Wrongfully banned users (repost because previous was removed for no reason)

Just kinda scrolling through this thread... I'm laughing so hard right now. This really is the pinnacle of two kids fighting on the playground known as the Toontown subreddit. Great job guys, I'm very entertained.

Now lemme jump in for a second.

First, I want to go ahead and point out the hypocrisy of all this. I can't be the only one who noticed that whenever there is an opinion on this thread that isn't that of Otaku and Mysteryman, it gets downvoted to kingdom come. Now, I know what you're thinking, "But Peppersnoop, they probably aren't telling people to go downvote these comments," which may be (and most likely is) true.

And the very same statement can be applied to the banned members.

As someone who is in the Toxicsquid group chat, though not a very vocal member, I see what goes on in the chat. Are links to different threads in the subreddit sent? Yes. Do we take the time to criticize them in the chat if we feel so? Yes. Do any of us say "yooo we all need to downvote this"? No. We're all very close friends, and close friends will most likely share an abundance of opinions. If one of us thinks something on the sub deserves to be downvoted, most likely, the rest of us will think the very same thing.

It's a common issue on this site that if something is downvoted, it gets downvoted hard. No point in taking it out on a couple of individuals.

Now, on to a point that, as I'm typing this, has been dangling below this text box and I really feel I need to address. How unprofessional can you get when you cannot even uphold your own rules yourself? You establish Rule 2: No swearing/profanity, and yet you go ahead and break it. Need I explain why that rule is an important one on this Toontown subreddit? We don't want to be the ones responsible for teaching children swear words when we're here to talk about an innocent children's game, do we? The rule isn't there to silence people -- it's for the sake of the sub and what it stands for, and you, even when speaking officially, break it. That's just disgusting.

"...if they continue to foster a hostile atmosphere in the community"

Give me a break. Most of the time, their opinions are confined in their nice little Skype group. If they all downvote something, as I said before, it's never out of one of them telling everyone else to do so, it's simply because they are friends that share an opinion. Nothing more.

Just... consider these points, I'm not saying these members have responded to this in the most... professional way, but this isn't close to their fault. Now excuse me while I prep myself for the volcano of downvotes that's about to erupt on me.
