I bet you are the type of person who keeps buying the same product over and over, despite frequently getting burned by defective merchandise that injures you, but you keep buying it because you've been told how amazing it is and just cuz you got burned more times than is reasonably expected, you want to give each and every individual unit a fair chance. Right?

Meanwhile, I hear from some Madison Avenue type that some widget is supposed to be great, and try it out. It fails to work for me and my friends all have similar uneven results. I stop using the product and tell others to avoid it. It is being a realist and practical.

Maybe I should become a liberal and start buying more shitty merchandise that has terrible quality control and is potentially dangerous to keep around.. cuz even though Pintos sometimes exploded, I bet not all of them did so I shouldn't be hating on Pintos.
