/r/webdev April Hiring Thread

Hello, All! I'm David.

I live in Columbus, Ohio. I'm looking for local or remote work, but I'm probably not going to relocate.

I'm a full stack developer. I have a lot of experience with the back end using c#.NET (primarily MVC), PHP (preferably Laravel), and Node.js. I also have about an equal amount of experience with the front end.

I have been focusing on my front end workflow using tools like Yeoman, Grunt, Gulp, Npm, and Bower. I really like using Node for my front-end workflow environments to automate testing and production-ready builds. This obviously doesn't mean I have to use Node on the back end, but I think it makes a great lightweight front-end build/testing environment. As for the front end stack, I have been using AngularJS, but I have been picking around with React, and I like what I see.

As for me, I really enjoy working on the front end when the environment is right, but I am pretty happy with either the front or the back. I love new technologies, and whether I do it at work or home, I'm going to check them out. Preferred language would be any of the above, but as any good developer, it really doesn't matter, and I assume you know that (the language is just the tool). I've got a decent amount of experience (4-5 years of 40+ hours per week).

Just a few things to note: I am incredibly passionate about what I do. I am not a developer so that I can go to work, make a lot of money, and go home. I spend a lot of my free time developing, or reading about new technologies. I am a big fan of open source projects, and I plan to continue contributing to them.

Feel free to send me a message if you'd like my email address. I've worked with a lot of technologies, so I definitely didn't list everything, but I'd be glad to fill you in.
