I am a 10th school topper, did well in 12th, got Baroda's best engineering college, wanted to do an MBA, parents were agreeing till last month but now they say they are not liable for my master's kharcha

On the other hand my friend who scored <40% in boards, got several backlogs in BA program has flown to the USA and uploads cool pics of himself from the places which I have seen in textbooks and Google images.

I have been placed in a medium scale company which usually remains closed because of strikes.
