2017 Audi A4, good deal or not?

Sean, thanks for reaching out to me! I live in STL, which is a pretty tough market to get a great deal on an A4 considering each dealership (there are 3 dealers out here) has around 10 A4s.

I have a buddy that I stay with in Dallas for the 4th of July (actually just got home today!) and their inventory is insane! 4-5 dealers in the DFW area with 50+ A4s on their lots. TrueCar suggested 13.8% off in that area as compared to 10% off out here in STL so I'm going to purchase an A4 while I'm down there next summer and drive it back home. I'm figuring I'll be able to get an extra $1-2k off by going with an A4 down there given the high volume dealers. It'll be at the end of the month too, so I've heard that helps. I was a customer service manager before I moved to finance so being nice is no concern for me haha!

I'm figuring I'll go on a Saturday morning (it'll be the very last day of June) to shop for my A4 next year, and I'll stop by about 3 different Audi dealers in the DFW area. I'm thinking the best way to go about it is to walk into the showroom, talk to a sales associate and have a piece of paper that clearly states I need whatever TrueCar avg percentage off for the EXACT trim, option, and color A4 I want to lease from them. I'll then have on the paper the lease term, mileage, and AudiCare I want to purchase and manufacturer base money factor and have the payment calculated myself. If they can do that, great, I'll be ready to sign papers right then and there. If not, I'll go shop Sewell or Audi Plano nearby and see what they can do. Does that sound like a good way going about that?

Thanks! Cole
