The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will not have a manual transmission option.

It's funny because if you ask anyone in the industry there are just as many younger Mustang owners buying autos as there is the old crowd.

The real issue is the amount of HP combined with the modern automatic transmissions if you ask me, and this is coming from a manual enthusiast.

I have no problem with the GT500 coming in an auto only and applaud Ford on their new 10spd as I've been really impressed.

For every millennial I've seen driving an auto there is a gen x'r or boomer complaining about how they were sick of driving a manual for X amount of years or another reason.

Real Mustang enthusiasts don't give a shit at the end of the day whether you got a V6 or a 5.0 and bang gears or have a 6MT/10spd.

You own a Mustang and that's all that matters.
