Mustang Ecoboost in snow?

I tested these year-round in Michigan, and if you have to have a winter Mustang, the EB is the best.

That's because it has the least power, narrower tires, etc., so it has the least tendency to break loose.

The Mach 1, by comparison, is a white-knuckle ride even in Slippery Mode and on the best snow tire Pirelli makes. It snowed for the first time here last week, and while I never wadded one up, I also had to drive granny-style the whole time.

If you want a Mustang and want to drive it 365, you can. You can't drive it like a Mustang, though, and winter is brutal on them.

Ford has as many replacement splitters, rims, bumpers, etc., as it needs to keep its Mustangs going, and when they are beat up, it doesn't matter as they are crushed after a few months' use anyway.

[To them. I try and not think about their fate.]

Two out of five stars. Would not recommend...
