The gods aren’t what you have to worry, it’s Mubong. Considering what he’s about to do(“change” the humans, kill the gods), is it even the first priority for both sides to fight each other, when it’s clear that how dangerous Mubong is? Mubong vs everyone made a lot more sense to me.
Jin can never persuade Mubong, nor he wanted to do it anyway.
Jin never once used “talk no jutsu” to his enemies, he just beat them(to death).
They hate each other so much they would outrightly go for the kill on sight in every opportunity that were granted, that’s not Naruto-Obito situation at all iirc.
Even Tathagata himself said that Mubong’s crazy, that fucked up Tathagata, don’t hope him to have a change of heart with a talk no jutsu from his archenemy that was one of the gods(Mubong refers to Jin mostly as a god) he “loves” so much, when he had already became Maitreya.
