Acoustic Guitar

I’m not a big fan of the cheaper fender acoustics so I’d probably go for the yamaha out of those two options.

Again there’s Gretsch’s offerings. Depending on what you’re playing the parlors are excellent for rootsy old school cool feel and the ranchers are great all around guitars. They have the dreadnaught G5024e for $400 if you prefer that shape. I’m a big Gretsch fan though so take my opinion with a grain of salt, my main acoustics the Jim Dandy and the jumbo ranchers a close second, I love my electrics from them and would probably use my Jr Jet bass as my main if I didn’t want the fifth string.

Beyond those two Seagull and Breedlove have some decent offerings around your budget. You might be able to go used and get like a Seagull S6 which is an awesome Canadian made guitar. Going used you might be able to find like a cheaper Martin or Taylor even. I’ve been wanting a Baby Martin or Taylor gs mini but haven’t happened across the right one for the right price. The biggest thing is finding a guitar that you like. I’ve had several “good” guitars that I’ve sold off or leave sitting in a case just because they don’t really speak to me. The internet can’t really tell you what to buy since a lot of purchasing an instrument comes down to personal preferences.
