Am I[26/F] Weird that I can't accept my BF[28/M] Getting a HJ From a Masseuse

Id like to think that we humans are more than one dimensional in thought, and that every circumstance is unique. Just because traditionally something is viewed as bad by the rest of society, doesn't mean we do not question or evaluate it or rethink it. Especially when you or I are not in the hot seat and the person who is cheating or being cheated on.

I don't disagree that cheating is bad. Somehow, everyone downvoting me is missing the part where I said that he violated the trust and its probably a good idea to break up with him.

But yet, I am looking at overall picture. Humans are prone to error, that is our nature in the way that often we let emotions do the decision for us. And just like any error, there are always circumstances behind it. And in this case (and the case of the other guy that I mentioned in the example), if you look at it from the other side, is trust built over time in a relationship that easily shattered by a single act of human nature that has no purposeful malice associated with it? If you think that this lie is worth ending a relationship over because of the broken trust, is any other lie on the girls or guys part also worth ending a relationship over? You read plenty of examples on here about the girl lying about hanging out with one of her exes even if nothing came of it, and often people say its no big deal. And if you don't think this is bad, than what is so special about one sided sexual intercourse, why is the line drawn there and not anywhere else?

If you have some other reason why cheaters should be dumped and castrated by default, I would definitely like to hear it. Again, Im not defending cheating, I just want to hear why its viewed as such a horrible thing in this case.

And if you think Im being ridiculous because I "can't see the obvious" and supporting cheaters, and don't reply, then you just become another example why noone can have any productive discussion on the internet.
