Woah, weird to see something from my county on the front page of Reddit. Ok, so I know 2 of the 3 guys, i've skated leonardtown with them.

Here in St. Mary's county, Maryland, we have a huge heroine/opiate problem. Most of the police are helpful/nice, but there are a few of them who just take their jobs to the next level. I was skating in an abandoned parking lot once. At this point I had been skating for 15+ years, helmets aren't a necessity when you'd got over a decade of experience. A police offcer (not gonna name him, but adams, you're a fucking dick) came up, made us all sit on the curb. Ran all of our identifications ( keep in mind there were about 9 of us, so it took over an hour). Dude finds out none of us have criminal records, so he chilled out a bit. Still harrassed the fuck out of us, told us if he sees us skating anywhere in the area agai, he would arrest us.

I wish the cops would go after all these dealers, drug users, and crimnals, not harrass some mid 20's innocent skateboarders. I will not be giving their names up, because skateboarding is not a crime.

Worst part is, we have a few local parks, an hour+ away. The closest park is 40 minutes away, and it's hands down the worst park I've ever been to in 17 years. Fuck you nicolette park, you're horrible.

Oh also, you can get shit or stabbed at that park, pretty easily , I stay away
