[Advice] Just curious to know what kind of job people has in NYC that they can pay 4-5K in rent? It looks like so far away from my reality!

not true!!!! Please don’t propagate such stereotypes, when you are basing other people’s experiences on your own. Many people, even recent graduates, make good salaries. Even great salaries. people who work in finance, people who work in tech, entrepreneurs, people who work in real estate, there are a ton of jobs where people could make sufficient money to satisfy the ridiculous New York rental requirements. Of course, not everybody fits into that category. My point is that people who do fit into that category are largely not people with fancy trust funds as you might assume. More likely, they are very smart and motivated people who when “you” and your friends were hanging out at the mall during high school, they were focused on other areas of their lives, which are now paying dividends in terms of their careers and salary.

I fully grasp this is probably an unpopular statement, and people like down vote me. But if you really want to know how some people afford these things, I speak the truth
