Albion Product confirmed as incorrect chemical

There certainly is incentive for vendors to test their products - reputation is everything in this scene. Please do not put words in my mouth. I am trying to advocate for a safer scene.

I was merely pointing out that your original post implied that it's okay that people don't reagent test themselves. You seemed to be making excuses for them, by saying "well people just aren't gonna do it because they're lazy, so the vendor should". If we are truly advocating for harm reduction, the onus should be on the consumer, and we should reinforce that thought as a community.

Especially with people putting all of their faith into these popup vendors like therclab and the cptn. Mixups happen even with highly regarded vendors sometimes.

I would love for every vendor to provide GC/MS results for every one of their products, but that's just not the reality. Furthermore, even if they do provide these, there is no proof that the results aren't forged, and there's no proof that you received product from the same batch.

Let's say a vendor receives a shipment of 3-FPM. They have it sent off for testing, wait a few weeks, and it comes back as 3-FPM - great! So they put it up for sale, and it sells very quickly. They order another shipment from the same vendor, assuming it will be the same batch. To send off again for testing will take another several weeks and for a smaller business this could mean huge financial losses.

I've seen this happen several times, and that's just the reality of this scene sometimes. I wish it weren't so, but as you said, there's no BBB. There's no RC union. This is pretty much the capitalist wild west. One day your favorite vendor could go completely bonkers and send out all wrong chems, and theres absolutely nothing to stop them from doing it. It's your responsibility to keep yourseld safe.
