[CHINA to WORLD] -15% off from EVERYTHING on Benzochemicals.com until October.

Some context for that story that's all too often missed. The customer acted recklessly, and although I am inclined to believe that Montfort possibly (probably?) fucked up the order, I can't exactly bring myself to fully trust that fool's account of things.

Everybody should always be testing any chemicals they intend to use for research before staking their whole project / dissertation / whatevs on the trustworthiness of somebody on the internet, yknow? You should be making sure you got the right shit, and the right purity of the right shit, and that you, personally, aren't going to have a bad/rare reaction when you have to work in close proximity to said shit for the research.

And although anecdotal experiences can be illustrative of patterns, they are not proof that any given order will go well...or not. As this story points out, all it takes is one mistake (and even a previously "solid" vendor can make a mistake or decline in quality over time) + one fool to end up in tragic consequences.

Trust but verify. For what it's worth I've never ordered from this vendor and there was also some shilling drama with another RC Vendor which makes me leery of jumping in to purchase. I do think though that potential researchers should be careful not to take everything said here (or anywhere) at face value, and to try to look more at the credibility of whoever is writing and long-term patterns of behavior.
