Alec Holowka has passed away

Foreword: Their pronouns are apparently they. I will respect them.

The others are completely valid for coming out.

However, the truth is that they themself admitted that the story wasn't supposed to be about him. Instead, it was supposed to be about them. What reason did they have for publicly outing a person that had apologized and (as far as they were aware) had reformed, instead of reaching out to him or those around him directly?

Instead, they purposefully brought up a topic that they had forgiven him for, while he, a victim of abuse himself, was struggling with depression and had already reformed. If they were simply trying to vent, they did not have to mention names.

Maybe I'm just upset, but depression, suicide, and death are very personal to me. What he allegedly did is not to be forgiven, and the other accusations should still have come out if the accusers hadn't received an apology or forgiven him. But he did not deserve to die, even if he was guilty of all of the accusations.
