This isn't an AUS v US thing; this is just one of the best seasons of survivor in general. It has nothing to do with AUS or US. We'd have to see AUS follow this up with at least one more season this good before we can even talk about "this season proves AUS is in every way better than US."

They've already had a season this good. 2017. I'd argue 2016 and 2018 were this great as well, but that's way more controversial and likely to strike a chord with some peeps that dislike those seasons, especially 2016. With better edits, BvB and 2019 would be in contention as well. Basically, AU has proved it's on par with the US when it was at its best, AKA the 9-20 stretch, where gameplay evolved and characters still mattered.
