This is such a shitty list. You say that you're just trying to give context, but you're doing it in such a biased, fanboy way that you're just ruining the "list" and making excuses for him.
Where do I even start? Your point about the whole pedophile thing is pretty bullshit, so I'll go with that.
He made a video outing a pedophile. He says that this pedophile groomed and had sex with an underage (13 year old) girl he met on Runescape, was arrested and has now been released, and that this pedophile started streaming on Twitch as soon as he got out. The streamer was then harassed during his streams, which obviously upset him.
People begun digging and found out that this man was not in fact the pedophile, but that he was a completely different man and that the actual pedophile was still in jail, serving a life sentence.
The man and Keem were streaming at the same time and a lot of people tried to notify Keem of what was going on in his chat. Keem eventually asked his 'news guys' about the article, where they admitted to just "matching the faces"- Keem blew up at them, took down the initial video (reuploaded versions can be found on other channels, as well as Tony's stream) and uploaded a quick video on twitter basically saying that he'd got it wrong and would address it properly asap.
He says the news guy(s) was fired, that he felt terrible and that he wanted to make it up to Tony somehow and help him recover from it. He then apologized.
I appreciate some of the things he did. As soon as he found out that they'd fucked up, he uploaded the short PSA video on his Twitter. He didn't just leave it sit until he could make a proper video on his channel, he tried to sort everything out as soon as he could and I appreciate that, not many people react like that to drama. I also appreciate the apologies and how vocal he was about his fuck up.
There's still some messed up aspects to this entire thing, however.
Even if he was right, even if this guy is the same pedophile from that article- that is not how he should have dealt with it. You don't shame pedophiles into being "normal", you don't shame rapists into being law abiding citizens. All shaming them does is make you feel good about yourself and make them feel resentful, which is what you don't want. You don't want a known, dangerous pedophile to feel resentful and as if he has to hide- That's how you end up with situations where you've got groups of pedophiles praying on younger people, completely unbeknownst to anybody else.
Even if you think they deserve it, you have to think of potential future victims and how you might be making things worse, even if it gives you a justice boner. The way he handled the information he had was absolutely horrible, counter productive and really quite petty- If he was really concerned, he should have notified authorities and told them that he was getting into the gaming community again, and that it might be an idea to keep an eye on him. That's all. He needs to remember that he's not a police officer, he's just a reporter of sorts.
I haven't seen Keem acknowledge this anywhere, so I think it's reasonable to dislike him for it. Besides, even if he did, that wouldn't change much. You can't just run your mouth under the guise of "bringing people news" and back peddle when things go wrong- He's stating things as facts to a group of people that he knows is vicious and relentless. He needs to take responsibility for what he says, talk properly to his often batshit fans and make an effort to not fuck up as much.
I mean, he's in his fucking thirties. He should be past this 'testing the water' phase and know how to do his "job" that he prides himself so much in.
I planned on addressing all of your shitty points but I'm all ranted out. Just know that you're all fucking nuts and I hope you eventually realize how shitty Keem is as a person. I usually don't care about crappy people and what they do but Keem has the potential to actually hurt people and the whole pedophile scenario is very close to my heart- I'm going to keep whining about it until something happens and people get it into their heads that it's not okay to be a vigilante asshole like Keem.
