An Affaire to Remember: The Tourney

Round 3

Willam Blackwood (11/20) -1 vs Harras (Advantage)

As Harras charged into Willam Blackwood the treachery was a bitter taste, Willam grunted as his supposed King blindsided him.

Can't face me like a man eh? Have to attack from the side because he is to cowardly to face me man to man

His plans to assist Edric Mormont was thwarted by this fat pirate whore, and he was wroth. Anger swelled as he tossed his shield aside and began hacking and slashing at Harras Hoare with all of his might. The repressed anger of being conquered buy the Pirate King began to boil to the fore front. He had decided after this Summer Faire, his freedom would be his top priority. Deals would be made to ensure King Whore would be King of the Riverlands no longer

Robb Reyne (10/20) +0 vs Rickard Stark (Advantage)

Robb grinned as he took the advantage, quick to act once more. He circled the Stark, his buckler positioned to shield his mace hand from view - a trick to surprise the man. Circled him until the sunlight was at his back and aimed at the man’s eyes, circled him until his grin had cracked so far across his face that it looked as if it was cut in half. And with the Stark blinded by the leer of the sun, he lunged, fast as he could, his macehand coming out from behind the buckler, aimed at the man’s shoulder, already injured from the previous blow. It was a blur of grey against the browns of the melee ground as he attempted to push the man forward - attempted to push the man forward so that he’d trip over the fallen bear behind him.

And then, of course, as most were prone to do in a setting like this, he’d force the man to yield. Unless, well, he prefered having his teeth shattered.

Edric Mormont (11/20) -2 from being winded vs Alestar

As Edric lay there in trouble he was steaming. He could never remember being so angry. This little Dayne and his fuckin’ spear. I see him in an alleyway or tavern I’m going to stick a dagger in his gut and watch as he slowly bleeds to death. He looked over to see his king in trouble and remembered the blow his King gave him to the face over the Gardener incident. I need to take care of myself. Covering himself with his shield he quickly grabbed his mace and sprang up as fast as he could. Retreating, watchful and on the defensive he resolved to only attack or counterattack if he had an opening. I need to buy a little time.

Corrick Dayne (9/20) +3 vs. Rickard (Attack from behind)

Corrick: “Yield!” Corrick growled through bared teeth, his anger flaring at the Bear. The man was on the ground and he had felt that crush of flesh under the butt of his spear. He was out, he had to be, he just needed the man to admit it so he could fucking move on. Of course, then he saw Rickard get pushed close enough and maybe… He didn’t have time to stop himself or even make sure his father was ok before he stepped forward again, swinging the spear at full length in a full circle over his head and the Bear's prone body to catch the Wolf’s head from behind. The rhythm of the fight flowed through him and as long as he was like that, he felt like nothing could stop him.

Rickard Stark (11/20) -1 from Fatigue

The King rushed the Lord, trying to catch him off guard. trying to shield bash him with the shield hoping to knock him down or make him lose his balance he did not care. hiding the mace in the process. he tackled the lord and revealed his mace on the impact of the bash. crashing down with all his weight behind it once again. trying to finish it in order to turn back and help his Lord

Dareon Targaryen (7/20) +1 vs Robb (surprise), +1 vs Robb (distracted)

After circling the battle, Daeron finally decided to enter the fray. He saw his uncle in danger after taking hit to his shoulder and decided to step in. With his shield held up and out from his chest, Daeron charged at Robb Reyne from his side, trying to catch him off guard and push him aside.

Harras Hoare (13/20) +1 vs Willam, +1 (No Shield - Willam)

(No Response - NPC’d)

With a growl the Ironborn King continued his ruthless assault upon Lord Blackwood, intent on hammering him into the ground with his two blunted axes.

Alestar Dayne (10/20) +0 vs. Mormont

(No Response - NPC’d)

Alestar was thankful that no one had charged him after beign knocked down, able to easily recollect himself and fix his sword in his grasp once more. His eyes fell upon the Mormont, scowling as he let out a cry, letting the man get to his feet before charging, swinging at him with his sword.
