How Dan Fegan is Creating His Next Masterpiece (AKA Getting DMC out of Sacramento)

I want this to go viral. I live in Sacramento, friends with some of DMC's "handlers"/assistants, and after seeing a number of interviews since before the playoffs ended with Vlade & Shaq (small time owner) making it very clear DMC wasn't going anywhere, I highly doubt they'd botch this.

I'm not a big fan of George Karl as our coach because I was so high on Malone, but Karl has very little power outside of being a new hire with a playoff pedigree.

This whole fiasco seems like some Ari Gold shit; his better asset is on a faltering team when he could be on prime time elsewhere. Honestly, anybody sitting on DMC's contract as an agent should feel slighted since his better years look to be spent on a team that's been in rebuilding for the last 7-8 years.

Still, I'm a Kings fan. We're 2 moves away (draft day included?) and some goddamn front office consistency from being in that 7-8 spot. If you dont think so, you're looking at the stats and didn't see what was going on at the beginning of the season w/DMC & Malone. This team was looking fucking rock solid, but all the changing and firing is a recipe for failure, especially when its coaches the guys liked & the new guy isn't as likeable.

Imagine if Steve Kerr didn't replace Mark Jackson; what if it was the assistant coach? No chance they'd be historic. Keeping Klay Thompson was integral to their success. Not simply because he's a very good player, but because playing together for several years with the same team & finding success lays a foundation.

All change is not good change. There has been a lot of changing of PG, directions, possibility of moving cities, and very little certainty w/the Kings. So, please, please, someone spread this shit like wildfire and ensure Dan Fegan is exposed so this shit can die & we can get back to 04 Kings basketball as soon as fucking possible.
