Another rant about Recruiters using the phone as the primary method of communication

It's not an obsession, it's a choice.

And as you didn't bother to notice, it is a bad choice. You haven't paid attention to the issue brought up in this thread and your comment comes off as tone deaf. It is as you didn't bother to read this thread.

If something can be taken care of in a 5 second text, why a 3 minute phone call? If an email can get the information, why the ten minute phone call?

Especially if someone is already at work. They're in a meeting and here comes the phone call, when the issue could have been handled with a quick text.

Look, I get it. You like that telephone. You hate texting. You hate email. That doesn't mean that every recruiter must exclusively use the telephone as if text and email don't exist in this universe. This is 2020, not 1980.
