Anyone have any CNC experience?

This YouTube channel has a lot of really great tips and tricks for the shapeoko and I've found it pretty useful: https://m.youtube.com/c/winstonmoy

I've cut MDF on my machine as well (machines great and is economical), but be sure the dust is being captured and vacuumed while the machine is running! Wood dust in general, but especially exotic wood (spores, toxins, etc.) and MDF (formaldehyde) is quite terrible for your lungs.

I recommend a respirator with cartridges rated for formaldehyde/organics when working with MDF/plastic especially since it can be easy to burn without a sharp cutter and an optimal toolpath.

I'm not really an easy person to get a hold of or someone who's very responsive (personal flaw), but I could maybe answer some questions from time to time.
