Plenty of risk, I was new to the area about a year or two ago. All friend/coworker recommendations and also online reviews that I should move to a town here in NC near the Raleigh area. (Guessing the online reviews were probably paid) the worse review was people having a few cockroaches. But hey everyone said it was the “new” upcoming place to be it’s safe. (Will note this was the first time finding a place on my own, so partially my fault/but didn’t think I’d be led astray/maybe they really didn’t know the area as well as they thought)

I moved there. Ever since then I’ve had guns shot at my place, drug deals, packages stolen, my car broken into, my neighbors car was stolen, etc. Plenty of stories to tell people who want something entertaining to hear.

Now apartments are so expensive I can’t afford to move. So yeah there’s plenty of risk.
