I am one the the women who accused a guy. You tapped into my biggest fear and something I never thought I could overcome. I feel sadness you are throwing out the stereotypes of “weirdos” without ALSO offering evidence past assumptions.

My abuser for a year called me a “habitual liar” and used that and his friends repeating that as a way to silence and doubt myself. In fact, I was so afraid of that claim by him, I let myself get stalked to near insanity for a year after our breakup. I limited the charges pressed to charges ONLY with clear 3rd party evidence for every single sentence posted. I knew if I didn’t have the most, objective evidence , my trial, my life, my sanity, my safety would be about a trial of if I was a creditable female.

I went to court the same way, and settled for lesser charges with clear evidence, to avoid people like you saying this shit. My abuser (30m) he was arrested for 4 assault charges on a female, destruction of property, and stalking. He is one of the only abusers this year arrested same day without a full criminal investigation first, because the evidence I brought in was so alarming and upsetting and real.

Yet, every day I still get told the issue is me lying. I promise the court does whatever the court does.

I don’t know why you feel this girls story is full of inaccuracies and holes? It might be. Trauma is confusing as fuck. But that doesn’t mean your friend isn’t an abuser and it does not give you the right to generally attack the moral character of a female who seems confused and traumatized without also putting forth tangible evidence.

Please hold yourself to the same standard you are demanding the group does.
