Anyone else noticing the recent absence of complaints about that unexpected braking issue?

My Model 3 Phantom braked heard yesterday and almost killed me and my daughter.
We were on a roadtrip driving from Arizona to California, on the 8 Fwy westbound.

Clear sky, open road, no opposing traffic since the opposing lanes were across about 200 feet of desert. No cars in front of us for any visible distance, road was straight for miles, no shadows, no reflections, just open road. I had the cruise control on and locked at 75 MPH. Wasn't using AP, just cruise control.

Suddenly, the car hard braked, throwing myself and my kid forward. Decelerated from 75 to 30 MPH in about 2 seconds. Scared the shit out of both of us. We were just sorting out the confusion when we hear honking horns, cars would be on us soon. I slammed the accelerator to move.

My daughter freaked out as she thought I had done it, she thought maybe I was having a heartattack and slammed the brakes. I let her know my feet weren't even on the pedals and I was using cruise control.

I checked the outside of the cars wondering if maybe a camera had become obstructed but nope, all the cameras had perfectly clean surfaces.

This phantom braking issue is going to kill someone.

I will never be using cruise control ever ever again, and that bums me out as cruise control works flawlessly on cheap $15,000 cars. And not being able to use such a feature on a luxury sports car is frustrating.

I've also informed my family never to use it if they use the car.

I really like my Tesla, but safety comes first, so I may be getting rid of this car.
