Anyone else thinking of leaving campus?

In the end, should we live our lives like hermits indefinitely until a vaccine comes out? What if this vaccine proves ineffective due to multiple strains? Are we bound to live in fear of each other and stay away from other people?

Of course we knew that COVID would be a risk when returning to campus. Why complain about something we knew about when it actually does happen? It is like complaining of the rain after months of drought.

To this virus, as we have been seeing, there is no "halfways" solution. Either one stays home if they are worried of COVID, or goes to campus and accepts it as a very real possibility and deals with the risk, whether that means getting sick, infecting others, or. The thing nobody wants to hear is that COVID kills, an uncomfortable reality. We have accepted the risk of driving, whilst auto accidents are a substantial cause of death.

You cannot please everyone!
