[Uni] Rejected from medicine;conflicted on what to do next

Whether you believe you're suited or not shouldn't matter. What does matter is whether you like the work involved. If you're not suited but you like it, you should put in the effort to learn the soft skills needed.

OP, let me preface this by saying that I have a strong interest in specific subjects. That being said, interests do change. Passion and motivation for particular disciplines and jobs can fluctuate over time, especially when you gain more exposure to them. Have you gone for clinical shadowing? I've shadowed in both emergency medicine and ENT, and honestly I found a lot of the work repetitive, rather than diverse. That put me off a lot from wanting to pursue medicine even though I did apply in the end.

Clinical shadowing as well as clinical and non-clinical volunteering are not only important in your portfolio to convince admissions staff that you've tried to find out more about the career and that you have interest in helping people, but also in giving you insight into what medicine entails.
