They’re not worth it.
I talked to a guy who was “spreading the word” of how great they were in budget mana bases. I didn’t actually read the card until he left, but once I did, I had a good chuckle.
That card is everything hardcore mana base players hate. It comes in tapped for tempo loss and it bounces a land to hand. You essentially lose two mana when you play it, one of which is permanent. The upside? Mana fixing. For three colors. Way worse than even something like [[Gateway Plaza]], which is only good in 4-5 color heavy budget decks. Frankly, if you’re despaestr for fixing, I’d take the plaza first.
He was still a great guy though, and a solid player. Just had some crazy ideas and a desire to help budget players as much as he could
