dont believe the the stories about the players getting sacked. theres nothing cynical about it, mourinho got sacked because we were 16th at christmas which happened because of a number of reasons (not one person to blame). The players who are holding us back are the Mourinho ones or Mourinho types and we let go of genuine talents along the way. KDB is a huge miss, hes not just "1 player" his ability alone, with hazard too, would carry this team into top4. Its not to do with abramovich he wants pretty football etc and the people advising him are the ones who brought in the likes of kdb, courtois, mata, oscar (before he turned shit under mourinho). Why would he want to keep players who arent good enough to keep up in that system it makes no sense. We tried to and failed to rebuild under AVB because the players got him sacked. But those players arent here now, the timing is perfect NOW for us to rebuild but the longer we let 2nd rate players like Cahill, Ivanovic, Willian stay here the closer we'll get to slipping into irrelevance. At least before when AVB got sacked he got pushed out by players who were actually talented. Theres nothing cynical about our team now, theres no player with huge power and influence. They are just incompetent thats it. Its up to Conte and the board to bin them; the reason it didnt happen this year is Conte's fault he didnt watch these players or realise how bad they were early enough (read what he said after the game yesterday "now only a top team on paper") he still doesnt realise, they arent a top team full stop. 5 players yesterday in that team arent even good on paper but he doesnt know. We'll see how things go, if we want a repeat of last season he'll carry on playing bad players till hes sacked if he stays true to his word about not caring about reputations etc he'll bin some of these cunts starting from next week. Hes not been here for long, Mourinho had years of knowing how bad players were but they suited his deep block football so they stayed, Conte is trying to change the way we play and im glad FINALLY that these frauds are getting exposed.
