Are there any large US Cities/States that aren’t notorious for bad drivers?

I looked at relocating to many different places, and every single place people said "the drivers here are TERRIBLE the traffic is TERRIBLE" so you can't really take them at their word.

I relocated from Houston to a small city in the southwest and I'd say drivers here are generally less aggressive, my car insurance also went down, there's barely any traffic to speak of at non-commute times. There are still shitty drivers as there are everywhere but it's less stressful and my overall risk is probably lower.

FWIW, as someone who has driven across Texas a fair bit I found Austin particularly stressful as you still have Texas drivers and cars but on roads that haven't really been expanded to handle the mass population increase.
