AM is a little beneficial to women with less means, you can see women who earn 5 6 lpa go for guys with 5-6x their packages. Although I will agree that dowry, marital rape , burdened with house responsibilities are some of the problems women face.But at the end of the day, AM is purely transactional ...as long as hypergamy exists it will keep happening.

And take the comments of a particular women centric sub with a grain of salt. A few dozen women dont represent the millions of women irl. Many of them are femcels and misandrists and maybe even guys larping as women.

Coming to the dating scene in India , men have very little experience interacting with women. They will have to improve their conversation skills , hygiene, dressing sense , etc considerably for their own benefit and survival.

But again hypergamy comes into play. Women have very little self awareness nowadays thanks to the attention they get irl or on social media which makes dating also kinda transactional in most cases.

Personally , I think the divide will only increase in the future, with men going the incel way and women searching for their unicorn.
