August 20 hurry up!!!

PgtE kinda sucks at first (with flashes of greatness), but at some point it becomes good. Couldn't say exactly when though. I recommend skipping and skimming parts you aren't enjoying early on. I don't think I read a single side chapter, and I felt like I missed nothing...?

I'm not sure if anything can compare to TWI though. Nobody else is as crazy as pirateaba in the web serial space. There's lots of stuff I would consider good, but nothing I could recommend without some kind of caveat lol. Including TWI.

Web serials come in main two forms: Starts rough but becomes amazing after the author gains more experience and the reader has "learned" the worldbuilding / magic system / etc, or starts strong but immediately loses steam after the author's initial plans run out. TWI and PgtE are the former.

If you don't mind a short published novel I recommend Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree. Similar vibe to TWI.
